Why are most bellows expansion joints made of stainless steel?

How to choose bellows expansion joint material?

1. Carbon steel and low alloy pipe expansion joint bellows is only applicable to t 375 ℃ or less;Austenitic stainless steel bellows tube expansion joint is only applicable to t 500 ℃ or less.
2. Corrosion residuals of expansion joints of carbon steel and low alloy corrugated tubes should not exceed 1mm, otherwise austenitic stainless steel materialsshould be used.
3. Corrosive medium, such as chloride, sulfide, alkali and acid, or high temperature(above 550 ℃), please use the corrugated pipe corrosion resistant alloy or high temperature alloy pipe expansion joints.
