ceramic line pipes

lined pipe is made through self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) technique.
Ceramic (Corundum: a-) lined  resistant straight pipe and fittings are lined with highly resistant ceramic by SHS ——-Self-propagating High-temperature Synthetic process.
Why is this important to you
Abrasive wear costs the material handling industry billions of dollars each year in downtime and replacements. The supply and application of abrasion resistant materials is a multimillion dollar a year industry. This covers products from epoxies to the hardest most abrasion resistant materials known to man. Choosing the right wear material for your particular application should not be left to the special interest of a one dimensional company or its salesmen.
Evaluating and comparing historical information as it relates to your application is what we do best.
Ceramic lined extension pipe draws
Principle of a wear-protected pipe elbow
Designed to match standard pipe flanges for easy installation in high-wear areas of the pipeline only. Maximum long-term cost-savings in replacement parts and downtime.
Size range:
  • 22.5 degree elbow
  • 45 degree elbow
  • 90 degree elbow
  • Backpack wear-resistant
  • Straight Pipe (CLSP)
  • Ceramic-Lined Composite Tee
  • Ceramic lined composite Y-type Tee
Knowledge + Quality + Longevity = Success
Self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) is a method for producing inorganic compounds by exothermic reactions, usually involving salts.
The ceramic layer is formed by molten alumina at a temperature above 2500 degree Celsius. The molten alumina produced from the reaction Fe2O3+2Al=2Fe+Al2O3 spreads on the inside wall of the steel pipe under the influence of a centrifugal force, then solidifies, so the ceramic layer has high density and smooth surface and bonds to the steel pipe.
